"In a city of dreamers, there are bound to be nightmares."

It’s official: The Enderal universe is expanding!

This is Nicolas, the writer of Enderal. For the past year, I have been working on "Dreams of the Dying," a spin-off novel to Enderal. It's the first entry in a series that explores Jespar’s past as a mercenary.

The book is a web novel, which means I'll publish one chapter a week, on Patreon, Steam, and Wattpad. The first one is due with our soon-to-release Forgotten Stories cinematic trailer. I'm also planning to make physical copies available via Amazon at the end of each "season".

"Dreams of the Dying" is free to read, but I'll relaunch my Patreon page when the first chapter comes out, for those who'd like to support my writing financially. A big thanks to my loyal Patreons at this point - I know my page didn't offer much in return, but with "Dreams of the Dying," that will change. You honestly rock.

If you can't become my Patreon, no problem. Just like Enderal, the novel is a work of passion - and I'm grateful for every reader. 😊

Now, without further ado: Here's a glimpse at what's coming!

When a contract leads Jespar Dal'Varek, mercenary and professional cynic, to the island nation of Kilé, he sees it as a chance to turn the page.

He quickly finds that the "land of chances" and its glittering metropolis walk on a tightrope. While the upper class lives in extravagance, a controversial decree has birthed an insurgency among the poor.

As Jespar learns that the First Magnate has fallen into a supernatural coma and that it's his mission to find out what caused it, he realizes that in a city of dreamers there are bound to be nightmares. And that it's only a thin line that separates the sleeping and the awoken.

Wonderful! I'll definitely read it! I was afraid that you want continue expanding the universe after the Forgotten Stories. I've also heard that you will be doing your own games in rhe future. I wanted to ask: are you plannung games in Enderal universe?

Looks interesting. Is my memory playing tricks on me, I thought you were writing a novel about something happening on a cruise ship.

Good memory! Yes, the novel you're referring to is "Bermuda", a horror/magical realism novel that is also most ambitious writing project so far. I finished the first draft in Thailand, 2016, and I'm planning to make it my first stand-alone publication when the first season of "Every Day Like The Last" is through.

I also wrote a mystery novel last year, which is currently in the hands of an agent, but more on that when it's out. :)

There are no immediate plans - Of course, we'd like to, but right now no one in the team has the time and resources for it. We'll see. :)
