This MIGHT be why they kill fast travel in the first place. try disabling the addon during that section of the story.

BUMP! trying to call attention to my new problem.

I have activated all those files, and my Oblivion does the same thing as well. I can create a character, but i can only see the menus. the game world is just grey. nothing when i turn on lite brite, wireframe, or motion guide.
EDIT: idea bubble just appeared, gonna try reinstalling Oblivion and ...

When I start a new game, I can see my HUD and my character in the pause menu, but nothing else. please help me!
