I was losing him when he jumped in the water and had got the idea you had to catch him before then

Still don't get it , he stops sometime and will stand there forever but as soon as I approach he's of again 'til he jumps off the battlements.

I'm baffled, I can't catch this chap at all. I sometimes get near him and have tried engaging him with the spacebar and it doen't seem to work. Casting or shooting arrows at him don't work either.

Well I thought of that and i was low on cash. i had a save so, i sold loads of stuff and raised about 800 gold surely thats enough: same no options

I'm not sure about the training system. I manage to train up in repair but now i'm at the sanctum and when I speak to a trainer I get A "want to train" message and then a message saying how many training points I have. And then it goes to barter/spell options without giving me the option to train ...
