It's nice to see this info on the Wiki. I think the reference to the "hatch" at the "Stone Circle" should use its name of "Southern Stone Circle Temple".

I entered the portal from Zerobilon, then did the game in Steinwelt, and entered the portal after the message saying to see where the creatures came from. Once there, I see the only option is to return to Steinwelt, but I do not see any exit back to Nehrim.

Did I miss something, or is ...

I had trouble determining what to do next. Since it may help someone else, I'll mention a non-spoiler comment. I was able to figure out what to do next by going to the Options->Video and turning the grass distance down to 0, allowing objects to be seen easier.
