There is no fast travel, although there is teleportation via spells and teleport runes. Teleport runes are sold by vendors and cost around 100 gold each. There are also horses and donkies.
I've been playing Nehrim since the English release and really had a good time. I wasn't a big fan of the main quest, but I absolutely loved the world design and all the "little touches" that made the world seem believable. I'd still be playing it if Fallout: New Vegas hadn't been released and I ...
I'm not sure about the translations, but if you folks need help in that area you might drop a post into the RPGWatch forums. There are a handful of German/English speakers there and one or two English/German speakers too. Alas, I'm not one of them :( GhanBuriGhan would be perfect and so would Jaz ...
You're supposed to wait for Shadow Boy to do something with those crystals you found earlier, iirc. Do you have a save from around then? If not, wait for someone to give you the quest stage I guess.
Make sure you have the 1.0.8.2 patch and you'll see messages show when you have them in the right place. The game is picky about where they lie. Part of the crystal must be near the center of the plate, but not what I'd call logical.
are you using the leveling mod from JOG? There was a bug in it if you used the linear leveling format. He's fixed the bug and has a new version available for download.
The German site oblivion.de has an interactive map of Nehrim, unfortunately it only seems to be in German. Is there a site with an English translation of this map anywhere?

Just saw that someone has posted a hotfix to Deadly Reflexes to make it work with Nehrim. I know there was some interest in this mod from a few folks.

There are three levers. I don't remember all the locations. Maybe behind some books, on the wall heading up near a trapdoor, one close to a tapestry? Too many dungeons...

Oh, I agree completely about building the game for us completists. I think we're very much the minority. I'm hoping for an outside modder to make something, not SureAI. It will happen and I'm content to wait. I imagine Progress could do it now, though it might need some Gecko love first.
I'm wondering if there would be any benefit to posting a sticky thread with post(s) about which quests are not implemented and which are just partially implemented. We get a lot of questions about the Nexus quest, et al.
I play both games, you just have to keep seperate ini files, etc. There are instructions on the site for that. I've got about 60 mods in Oblivion and about 10 or so in Nehrim and both games work fine. Oblivion is MUCH more stable, but give SureAI time and they'll get all the bugs swatted.

I have a mod for Nehrim that allows you to equip a scythe and use it to automatically harvest nearby plants. I don't see a thread topic about it, so I thought I'd at least make everyone aware of the beta: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35074
Note that this mod is beta, but I've ...

This game would require several weeks of playing to make a decent walkthrough that covered all areas and dungeons. For a commercial game, it is viable to spend the time building such a guide, because it will make money. For a mod of a four year old game? Not gonna happen anytime soon. A fan or group ...

I'm not sure how you play, but fireball is my spell of choice for most battles. I also use lightning bolt, though Nehrim names it something else. I play a sneak archer/mage. I fire one poisoned arrow and then finish off the foes with spells. It's really up to you how to play. I wear whatever armor ...
Ah, good to know! I've never had UAC except in 64-bit OS's so I thought they were intimately related. Rule of thumb: Installing games in a default system directory (ie Program Files/My Documents) bad. Installing them in your own created directory, good
Have you tried just dragging them with the z key? Kinda like moving crates?
