I moved the game to c:/games
The updates are getting downloaded

well, turns out that was indeed the problem
I guess i'll be able to play enderal now, many thanks for the help, Stefanie and urst !

I already tried to install it in - C:\Program Files (x86)Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim
then installed it a second time, to the documents folder

I tried restarting my PC and starting the launcher as administrator, changed nothing


i have a decent internet connection
i tried ticking on and off all ...

- yes, the launcher and the installation files are for the french version
- I didn't try to redownload it but it doesn't seem corrupted, I can open it with winrar without any errors, and I downloaded it by torrent anyway
- I tried what you told me, but sadly nothing ...

I searched a solution for this and saw many people having kind of the same problem, but nothing solved mine.
I tried running the launcher as an administrator, i deleted the "uptade" folder (which is always empty anyway) but it didnt do shit
I uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim so I could install ...
