hi there (sorry for the late reply D: ) what does your questlog say? did it update to "I arrived safely in the Abbey." ? do you have any mods installed/tried any cheats before your arrival there? (fast travel for example could cause issues) you probably tried earlier saves - from what point on? can...

Before I escaped the mining cave, the mage asked me bringing a letter to master who live in abbey. When I finally met this master and tried to talk with him, the subtitle showed "I have nothing to say".
Pretty annoying, cause I've tried several times.

How can I fix it?

Yeah I also met this probelm. I've checked the oblivion patch, the path, and I followed steps in the guide post, but still didn't work. Strange.
