I had the similar problem during the game. But in my case loadings were just very long(10-15min).

Try to on/off "One Tweak" and switch some parameters in multithreading. I made some manipulations with them randomly and game repaired itself magically...

In a pond close to the exit of the dungeon you should find the body of the diary's author. Clicking on him lets you finish the quest.
However, the apothecarius sometimes doesn't spawn in modded games. I don't know which mods exactly cause the problem, but if he really isn't where he is supposed to ...

I found all pages of diary but quest won't end... Is it bug or i missed something??

A few days late but... Here are some things you can try;

- Run the game without any mods or OBSE etc.
- Delete/rename Oblivion.ini (the one in Documents\Games\Oblivion. NOT oblivion_default.ini)
- Ensure that you have the right version of Direct X 9.0c

After update I got trouble with loadings in game. When I'm changing locations game stops respomding for 5-10 minunes(time depends of location), but sometmes it's can completely stop respondig. I tried to change some settings, but still I haven't found the solution...

Hi. I got a problem with quest "The Lion's Den". After Jespar and I arriving to our subway station and I trying to exit a train, game stops responding. Game version is 1.1.3.3(updated two hours ago).

Tried to disable Vsync, but still no positive effect... Also I tried to enable some multithreading ...
