Do you mean you are stuck in the cell with the guy who keeps being afraid of the suppressor after getting the key and being relocked in a cell? If so it might not be a bug and just part of the quest you are supposed to figure out.

I made it my first priority to get a good house early on and saved up money. The house in the market place isn't too bad. But the house in the noble's quarter is only pretty and with very little function. There is no good storage anywhere, I can't click on any barrels or anything to store stuff ...

Will there be an option to keep the german bard songs, but just have the subtitle translations in english? I quite like the songs in german, even though I haven't heard the english ones.
