I can confirm that I am able to get almost done with this quest, get to the part where the Archmage reads the glyphs. There is a bright flash (assuming explosion), just as my monitor turns white; the game will crash.
I checked event viewer as well, all it shows is a standard game crash warning on ...

I just started playing Enderal, just got out of the cave and got my second point to spend on the trait tree.
I have one trait on the magic side already, wanting to put a trait on the combat side.
Each time I spend that point and get the base skill upgrade, I press Z to return to the game, it crashes ...
