After you finish the last main story quest, the game 'ends', throwing you to the main menu. I'd advise doing what I did, making a hard save before starting the last quest so that you can return there to do side quests after you finish.
I think it is a typical dream situation: you hear yourself say something without being able to influence what you say. They could have done the scene without the three "options", but I guess they did it this way to make you feel even less in control of the situation.
That's what I was thinking ...

So, I was just curious about the dialogue option in the prologue, 'But I didn't kill them Daddy, it was the masked men.' Namely, I was wondering why there were three options all the same. Is that a mistake, or is there some kind of meaning behind it?
This ENB from the Nexus was made especially for Enderal;

From the one moment you could actually predict what's going to happen next but more of that in a spoiler.

My only lament is running through the MQ so fast that I didnt really get a chance to appreicate the world around me.
I'll undoubtedly play through it again though, and take it slower.
I simply can't fault Enderal; even now after completing the main questline, I'm in shock from the way things turned out in the story, there were so many amazing, shocking and emotional twists and turns, terrifying moments, beautiful moments (which were usually torn away from my grasp by more twists ...
Upon experimenting with some settings, it turns out that somehow onetweak was causing the issue; as soon as I disabled onetweak I could change my brightness settings.
I don't use an ENB, I had some lighting mods installed for Skyrim but I imagine they're totally disabled in Enderal. I'll tweak what I can.
So, I love Enderal so much, and to criticise it feels almost cheeky, but I was wondering if it's intended to be as dark as it is for me, or if I'm the only one experiencing it; for example, dungeons are not just a little bit dim, they're totally pitch black, which makes it difficult to play an ...
I can assure you, that quest that they criticised did indeed get to me, and I wonder if that reviewer even bothered to get that far.
Though, to be fair, I was wary and sort of expected the way it ended from the start because everything else had already BEEN SO CRUEL! WHY DO YOU TORMENT US?!

After binge playing since release, I just finished the main storyline, and... wow. Seriously, nothing has ever been such an emotional rollercoaster to me, I'm not even exaggerating... SureAI certainly succeeded in making a story that was terrifying, traumatising, sweet and nice in some places, and ...

It was soured when the EV was delayed. I never cared to watched the twitter feed before the 1st of August and I'm sure more people are right there with me on that. Yes they are a group of hobbyist but teasing us with very vague posts is not cool or professional. And again I would like to state that ...

I have not presumed any of the sort. My complaint is that if no date is established, saying that it is near or that it is coming soon, only gives an opening for uncertainty. Say nothing. Like what was said before the DE release.
But it's just rude to simply ignore people asking, and if they ...

"its near:)" that's enough to complain about.
Developers sometimes don't give precise release dates. It's because they're not sure exactly when it will be ready, and people are so impatient and salty that if a release date is given and then missed, they'll go crazy. They say it's near, it's near ...

It releases when it releases. SureAI don't owe us anything, they're making this free of charge with their own time and money. It releases when it releases, and we're not in a position to demand a faster release. Wait like everybody else and stop complaining.
Any idea about the mod 'closer quivers and longer arrows'? Just a mesh replacer for arrows and quivers, so should it work without incident? I struggle to play without that mod, to be honest.
